Trans Therapy
Trans-Affirming Therapy
You deserve to be seen, heard, and supported — just as you are.
I don’t think it’s possible in today’s world to be trans and not experience trauma of some kind. Invalidation comes from so many directions. You just want to be safe being who you really are. You want to be heard and seen — without having to educate your therapist or justify your experience.
In this space, you don’t have to explain your identity. You don’t have to train me. You are affirmed here.
What You Can Expect in Our Work Together
I have worked with many trans and non-binary clients and bring a foundation of clinical training, lived experience, and continued learning to this work. Though I am always growing, I’ve completed over 60 hours of doctoral-level coursework focused on working with trans clients.
Whether you’re seeking support around identity, trauma, relationships, or general mental health — this is a space where your whole self is welcome.
Gender-Affirming Healthcare Letters of Support
If you're seeking gender-affirming medical care and need a letter of support from a mental health professional, I offer:
An 85-minute evaluation session
A thoughtfully written letter that meets WPATH standards
A flat fee of $50
If, after the interview, I am not able to write a letter in good conscience, you will receive recommendations for next steps and will not be charged.
I believe in supporting, not gatekeeping. My role is not to question your identity — it’s to ensure you’re informed, prepared, and safe in your care journey.
Support for Parents of Gender-Diverse Kids
If you're a parent of a gender-diverse child or teen and want help understanding their experience — or navigating your own emotions — this is a supportive space for you, too.
We can explore your questions, concerns, and hopes with compassion and honesty, so you can better support the child you love.
You can contact me with questions.
